Needs modifications if using with the full swing on Bronco

I've got a 2022 full sized Bronco (3 door) and it was recommended I buy the straight shot so as to be able to clear the rear mounted spare tire (and it mentions in the description that it works with the Bronco). It might work perfectly with certain racks, but it doesn't work with the Full Swing - it's an inch too high for the tire to clear when the swing gate is open. We had to modify the hitch (thank god my husband has a background in fabrication) in order to make it work (by lowering it 1.5 inches) - now it works great, but don't think this is an out-of-the-box solution for the Bronco owners out there.
