There are bike shows, and then there’s Made. Tucked right here in our backyard of Portland, Oregon, Made isn’t just an event, it’s a celebration of everything we love about cycling. Handmade bikes. Creative minds pushing the boundaries. A community that lives and breathes two wheels.
This year, the heat was turned all the way up. Literally. With the thermometer hitting triple digits, we set up our booth outside and let the conversations roll. And even under the blazing sun, the energy never wavered. Riders, builders, and dreamers came through, and we swapped stories, ideas, and plenty of shade where we could find it.
For us, Made is more than a show. It’s where passion meets craft, where the cycling community shows off its wild creativity, and where we get to connect with like-minded people who see bikes the same way we do, not just as gear, but as freedom machines.
Sweat, sunburns, and all, we wouldn’t miss it for the world.
While the bikes were turning heads outside, we kept things easy under the tent with our Take It Easy station. The highlight for the kids (and plenty of adults) was our Yakima themed color sheets and a bucket of crayons. Couldn’t make it to the show? You can still get in on the fun.
