We build our gear to go the distance, but if something’s not right, we’ll help make it right. Whether you’re returning an item or dealing with a defect, we’ve got your back.

30-day returns

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, in new condition
  • Returned in original Yakima packaging
  • Include the packing slip, manuals, and all small parts
  • Item must be within 30 days from the date of your Yakima shipping confirmation email
  • Purchased directly from Yakima.com

Non-returnable items:

  • Oversized freight items: Cargo Boxes (all models), Rooftop Tents, Awnings, Drawer Systems (e.g., Yakima MOD), and Trailers
  • Pro orders
  • Items marked as Final Sale or Deep Discount
  • Merch and Apparel
  • Products not purchased from Yakima.com
  • Used or installed products

Please note: Yakima reserves the right to refuse or adjust refunds for returns that are used, incomplete, damaged, or received beyond the 30-day return window. Refunds in these cases may be reduced or denied at Yakima’s sole discretion.

 

RETURN PROCESS

REFUNDS

  • Refunds issued to the original payment method
  • Processed within 5–7 business days after return is received and inspected
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless due to Yakima error
  • Yakima provides a prepaid return shipping label for approved returns

ORDER CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

Expedited Orders (2nd Day or Next Day Delivery):

  • Cannot be canceled once placed
  • Please use the return process if needed

Ground Orders:

  • Orders placed before 12:01 PM ET may be canceled within 60 minutes
  • Call 888-925-4621, Option 2, Monday–Thursday, 7 AM – 4 PM PT, and Friday 7 AM – 11 AM PT
