The new gatekeeper is a MAJOR improvement over the previous version. Yakima took customer feedback and responded by fixing every issue. I drive an F150 and installation is super easy, and the gatekeeper fits nearly perfect. The new hook strap system is very secure and easy to operate. The flap now snaps in place instead of just relying on velcro, and it comes with a metal reinforced loop on the inside to run a lock through which means i feel better about leaving the pad installed knowing it won't be stolen. Kudos Yakima!!!! 👏
