5 star review for the rack. Great build quality and extremely capable for multi sports. The downside is that I can't use it because I needed to switch from feet that work with the Retrax cover to conventiional bedside clamps. Paid $430 up front at my local Yak dealer for parts and just cancelled tonight after 2 plus months waiting.
They look great on my truck! I went with the 60” crossbars which gives me additional space even with my SkyRise HD small RTT. TOYOTA/NISSAN OWNERS, don’t forget to buy the Bed Track Kit 1 so that the towers fit the stock truck bed rails. I waiting about 4 months until they restocked the Kit in order to mount the towers to my Tacoma. Took a bit of time but I am very pleased with my camping set up!
I enjoy the option of lower and raising my racks. This is a great system and worth every penny

Super easy to install on my Retrax with the kit. I wish it went 4” lower so RTT could sit below cab height, at its lowest my kayaks go over the cab and I can raise it for ladders and pipe. Play vs work options. I’ve got the 60” cross bars on my Tacoma long bed TRD - side rails next
Installation of the Yakima Overhaul HD System on my RetraxPro Tonneau Cover was easy using the (8) supplied T-Slot bolts (Ford F-150 Lariat 5.5 foot bed). I was able to purchase the Yakima HD Crossbars on Ebay (68”) - as nobody . The Overhaul+HD Crossbar system is ROCK-solid sturdy. I love having additional tie-down points for securing cargo. However the beefy HD Crossbars lack accessories - so I hope Yakima comes out with more products. As shown in the photo, you can tie down Kayaks pretty easily without additional accessories - although using the proper accessories is advisable for longer trips. For Kayaks, forget standard foam block kits and most other competing products, as the HD Crossbars have too large of a cross-section and parts don’t fit well, or at all. I purchased a set of kayak carrying cradles but had to buy longer length metric carriage bolts in order to install on the HD bars. I highly recommend this product - I’m sure I’ll have it for the life of my vehicle.
Could not be any happier with the system. It is perfect for what I needed. The 60" HD bars give me room for a SkyBox 18 and a SkinnyWarrior basket, and this system gives me plenty of room underneath to load larger items. Easy to install. Rock solid construction. Looks awesome.
This build was meticulously planned and has been the culmination of many years of gear that has seen the roof of several vehicles and even a Rack and Roll trailer. I've clearly outgrown my trailer and my SUVs so the 2021 Tundra TRD OffRoad Limited is my new basecamp. All components are rock solid and have provided many years of use.
Very solid rack, easy Install with the Bed Track Kit and 60" HD Bars. it's cool how quick the towers unlock from the bases for fast removal. The 60" crossbars are perfect for this rack on a Tacoma short bed. Have had good luck with Yakima products in the past, and we'll see how the Overhaul HD holds up!
Installation was straight forward and took less than two hours to install the full system including accessories and lights. I couldnt be happier with the rack. My only issue is with the recovery track mounts as it flexes a lot when i put 4 tracks, so i carry two in the mount and two in the bed. Rack easily supports the weight of my RTT and batwing awning
