      Likes: Very high quality design and materials. Easy install. Easy to remove.
      Improvements: Not sure these need any improvements. I've had older systems that mount on raised rails and these Timberline Towers are in a totally different league of quality and usability.
      Another very well engineered product from Yakima!

      Switched up my vehicle and the new one has raised side rails on the roof. So, I ordered the Timberline Towers to use with the JetStream bars that I already owned to set up this vehicle for hauling our whitewater kayaking gear & sea kayaking gear. The system was impressive in its build quality and materials. Easy to install, easy to remove, and the entire system is very, very strong and secure when mounted to the vehicle's raised roof rails. I have no doubt these will do the job and last many years. I transport multiple kayaks and paddles on my roof rack many times per year to paddle whitewater rivers in the eastern US. This system will make it easy to bring everything along securely to the river.

      I also noted how quiet the rack system was on the highway. I was actually expecting more wind noise, but it is very smooth and quiet at speed.

      Yakima 55" hd bar and timberline towers!

      I ordered the timberline towers and hd clips from yakima, had to buy the 55" hd bars on amazon. I put in on my 2024 Outback wilderness, so i can put a 24' ladder on it for my window cleans, this was my first time putting on a roof rack system.. I'm extremely pleased with it! Very ez install! Works GREAT! THANKS YAKIMA!
