RPL 52” W/TRAY & CAPS

Yakima won't condone with this, but the 52" Replacement wheel tray (8820110) has the same end shape as the 43" replacement wheel tray (8820109), and will fit as a replacement wheel tray into the fork block of the CopperHead (8002064). I needed the 52" wheel tray to mount a 29er MTB on an old CopperHead mount. The length of the 52" tray accomodates the long wheelbase of the 29er and the 2.5" tires fit into the width of the tray. The weight of the MTB w/o the front wheel (30 lbs) is within the load limit of the CopperHead (35 lbs). I also use a thru-axle fork adapter. The 2nd and 3rd images show the CopperHead with the 52" tray along with CopperHeads with the original 43" trays
