Wow...others have been waiting a lot longer than I have (3 months on this side) but glad to see the piece is finally available! Get it while you can! Excited to be able to install the truck bed rack in it's entirety!

      Available?

Will this kit ever become available again? Tacoma and Frontier owners are probably your biggest users of the Overhaul rack and yet you guys fail to keep a simple kit in stock…Ridiculous!

      out of stock forever?

Got the Outpost HD for Christmas from my wife so I could carry our 2 kayaks to the lake for camping trips. As other reviews here show, it wasn't until I got it that I saw there was an additional part needed to install on my 2018 Tundra. I would have just got the part and moved on but it has been out of stock for months, I'm on multiple websites email lists, including Yakimas, to be notified once it comes back in but it doesn't appear its being manufactured. I sent an email to Yakima only to see that they are backlogged with emails and that the average response is 3 weeks! I then tried to call but although the website says the call center is open M-F until 4pm PST, when I called on Friday there was a recording saying they close at 11AM PST on Fridays. I would love to return this $800 paperweight that's been sitting in a box in my garage but my return window has passed because I made the false assumption in December that they would have their act together by the summer. My mistake I guess

We are very sorry for this inconvenience and we know how frustrating this is for you. We ARE manufacturing this part but we had to prioritize other product. We hope you can hang in there as these are coming back in stock very soon.

      This is theft

I spent $1000 on this system so I could take my family on our vacation. Little did I know that this company who proclaims that this system was compatible with my truck, outright lied to me upon my purchase. False advertising liars! Ruined my vacation because I was missing a Toyota specific part which they do not tell you about until you get into the instructions. I have never come across a practice so evil in my lifetime. And get this, after spending 1G on my truck rack the part I'm missing is not only listed for 130 bucks but is also out of stock! What a terrible company full of thieves, liars, and cheats. I will never buy from YAKIMA again and I will be sure to tell my friends and family not to as well. HORRIFIC!

Yakima nickel and dimes you to death.

I bought the Outpost HD Yakima heavy duty truck bed rack. The rack was $550 at REI. I own a 2021 Toyota Tacoma and the kit was supposed to be designed for the Toyota Tacoma thinking you would the track kit in the kit. Unfortunately they want you to pay another $110 to get the track kit that should have been in that Outpost HD track kit. Also you don't get the rails. That's another $249 on top of the 550 that I've already spent. Greedy. Pretty disappointed that the kid didn't at least have the track kit for the Toyota Tacoma. Feels like apple how they nickel and dime you for everything and it's super expensive.

      Amazingly Simple

How lucky it is to be a Nissan/Toyota owner...this bed track fits perfectly and allows for infinite adjustment with two simple screws. You can move the whole rack (front and rear towers separately) with little effort and a single tool. Read the instructions all the way thru as they have to be assembled in a certain way and make sure the lock washers and regular washers are in the correct positions. The old saying “measure twice, cut once” is applicable here 😃
